At the President's direction, we have added a survey capability to the site. Please see the link at the top of the page, under the photos. Let us know what you think.

Maxamps.com has NiMH brick transmitter batteries, 2500 mah, for 20 bucks, until Midnight Tuesday. That is a heck of a deal.

'Cause I wasn't there...some of us have to work harder than others.

great ideas , i think dave already took care of the rusty tables or atleast most of them. i would agree with getting the grass cut a bit more.. as more of us move to giant planes more room the better. and to help with the wild crosswind days the north end widend out would be nice. once next seasons cutting starts if anything just keeping a 10 ft perimeter cut lower then 4 ft would help to.. as for the portacan moving..would be nice but sadly i think our shelter keeps it from blowing over in storms.. why doenst this stuff come up at meeting... haha

I'd like to humbly propose our club think about some things for next year, since we are fertilizing and cleaning, etc, and winding down flying at the field.

1. Move the freq board out to the flight line. Even though more folks are moving to 2.4. - 72mhz still works quite well, so we need to accommodate those pilots with freq control.

2. Lets make the heli area, a real heli area, and not the heli/park flyer/test flight area. It's hard to concentrate when the shadows of small electrics are dancing around everywhere. To do this, we really need to sort out the road/parking situation.

3. Paint the rusty topped metal tables with something that will last.

4. If we need a larger area of grass cut, let's pony up and do it. Get a price from the grass man for the whole year, to do the whole big bad field, parking, whatever, and then set out to secure funding. He's already up there, let him cut away.

5. Get a price on the portolet maintenance, and go for it. Move it away from the shelter area.

6. The Club website - I didn't do this latest design, but it seems to work. If anyone wants to take over the duties, step up to the plate. If we want to use one of the other RC oriented mega sites, that works for me. It would save me the yearly cost of this account, domain registration, etc. Believe me, I'm not emotionally invested in it one bit. :)

6. HDTV at the field- ok, maybe that's for 2010

feel free to add to this, or shoot it down in flames. Just some ideas.
